Remember a few months ago when Lululemon had to recall some leggings because they were too sheer and slutty and generally sucked? Well…I just read in Cosmo that the real reason your Lululemons are too sheer isn't their fault, it's yours.
The co-founder says:
“Frankly, some women’s bodies don’t work for it….They don’t work for some women’s bodies… it’s really about the rubbing through the thighs, how much pressure is there over a period of time, how much they use it.”
In other words, your thighs are too fat and you should probably just wear plus-size leggings from the Gap to the gym until you finally get skinny enough to fit into our brand. How do you know you're too fat? If you can see how fat you are through their yoga pants.
While this may seem fucked up to some people, it's actually not that different from Abercrombie only carrying shit in tiny sizes or a club bouncer refusing to let ugly people in. The only difference here is you have to buy the pants, realize that your chafing thighs are too much for the delicate Lululemon threads to handle, and then go buy new ones. Capitalism, duh.
