There were quite a few films noticeably absent from today’s list of Oscar nominations.
David Oleyowo did not get nominated for his role as Martin Luther King Jr. in “Selma.”
Ralph Fiennes didn’t get a nom for playing Gustave H. in Wes Anderson’s “The Grand Budapest Hotel.”
But, the most egregious snub of them all may have come in the Animated Feature Film category.
“The Lego Movie” did not receive a nomination, despite previously being thought of as a shoe-in.
Well, now one of the film’s directors, Phil Lord, responded to the slight on Twitter.
His tweet is funny, smart and classy, with just the right amount of irreverence.
Check it out below.
